Where is Crystal?

Remember the game where there was a little guy who was hidden in a jumbled mess? My game is a tad easier than Waldo's. This is just my way of explaining where I have been recently. Just to clarify I visit your blogs, I read them, but I have not always been able to comment as much as I’d like.

First there was my son’s visit for two weeks of busy, busy, and busy.  There were two birthdays and parties in February.  Then the carpal tunnel syndrome in my right hand (yes I am right handed) started acting up.  Next up:  Tennis elbow.  I had a shot of cortisone in my elbow, which eased the pain but made my arm feel like a beanbag that was over full.  After three days (which is what the doc said) it feels better but in two weeks I go for the nerve test and then most likely carpal tunnel surgery…eeek.

Hopefully (and I my doctor tells me it is so) the surgery this time is much easier than when I had my left hand done and doesn’t take as long to heal.  So hopefully by next month all of this will be behind me and you will be able to find Crystal.

Check out my new blog if you would like some quick, easy and inexpensive craft tutorials!

Also I would like to say "Happy 1st Anniversary to Kristin and Eva the wonderful hosts of  Paint Party Friday  You need to do yourself a favor and check out all the wonderful art and artists today!

Lovely hand sketch! Sounds like a busy time indeed.

My chiropractor swears he can cure most carpal tunnel syndrome without surgery. And if your elbow is also acting up it sounds even more likely. Have you tried that?

Hope you sre feeling better soon!

what a beautiful hand painting! Hands are hard to do! Hope your hand surgery goes well, that's all an artist needs is carpal tunnel syndrome.

Hi Crystal, good to see you. I'm really sorry about the pain in your hand. Those cortisone shots hurt. I've had them in my knees for arthritis. They shove the needle in the bone, and boy does that hurt. Glad to see you are a little better and you have been busy. The drawing of your hand is just awesome. That's a great job! Happy Paint Friday and Happy Women's Day!

Good luck with your surgery Crystal! I avoid any mention of carpal tunnel to the doctor. I am so over being cut on!

Crystal, your art and crafts are wonderful. You just take it easy until you know if and when you will have surgery. I've had both of my hands operated on for carpal tunnel, si I know what you are going thru...

Big Hugs,
Jan

I hate to hear that you are in pain! Here's hoping that the surgery will alleviate the nerve impingement....and you'll be drawing dizzily soon after!!

Hi Crystal,
This a superb hand illustration, gorgeous work.
So sorry to hear about your pain and needing surgery, never fun thing to do. Like Gloria I had knee surgery and cortisone shots to the knees once and that was insanely painfull. All the best with the surgery and speedy recovery so you can indulge in your craft.
